On June 1, 2015 it was announced that Min W of Min W Fine Art & School was nominated and selected as the local artist to represent Senator Ed Hernandez District for the 2015 – 2106 California State Senate Contemporary Art Collection Exhibit.
The CA State Senate Contemporary Art Collection will be on display at Legislative Caucus rooms near the Senate Chambers and the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms office at the State Capital in Sacramento, CA. The exhibit will last for approximately eighteen (18) months and a collection catalogue is also produced to highlight the artists selected during this exhibit period.
Born in China, Min W, immigrated to the United States in 2008 and became a naturalized citizen in 2012. Min W's exposure to the art world began at a very early age and became a love of her ambitions and continues to depict the world of art through her eyes today.
